• To ensure all fire equipment service company contractors have the appropriate state licenses.
• To ensure all fire equipment service companies doing business in the City of Torrance have a Torrance City Business License.
• To ensure all fire service companies doing business in Torrance have proper insurances.
• To prosecute all repeat unlicensed fire protection service contractors.
• To ensure the public that all fire equipment is being correctly maintained.
