The City of Torrance Victor E. Benstead Plunge is now open for reservations.

Private groups may rent the Victor E. Benstead Plunge when it is not in use and pending staff availability. We are located at 3331 Torrance Boulevard on the corner of Madrona Avenue and Torrance Boulevard. "The Plunge," as commonly referred to, is a heated Olympic sized 50 x 20 meter outdoor pool, open year round. The pool is divided into two courses; one 25 yard and one 26 meter course. The pool is heated year-round to about 80° to 81°. 

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

• The City of Torrance does not allow any rock climbers, dunk tanks, obstacle courses, laser tag, nerf guns/ nerf gun courses, giant hamster balls, trackless trains, game trucks or oversized inflatable items. 
• The delivery and use of Event tents, banquet seating (tables and chairs) are strictly prohibited and not approved inside any City of Torrance Parks. Only a single 10x10 EZ-Up canopy is permitted.
