Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun 6:45am-8:30am

Mon, Wed and Fri 11:00am-2:00pm

Monday through Friday 8:30pm-9:30pm

Saturday 1:30pm-4:00pm.

Lap Swim is for ages 15 and up. Hours are subject to change.

Admission Prices

CASH OR CHECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE PLUNGE, PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD ONLY.

A surcharge will be added to all credit and debit card transactions.

Youth $3.00 (must show ID for proof of age for Adult Lap Swim). 

Adult $5.00

Senior $3.00

Thank you for selecting programming with the Community Services Department.  Please note we apply a standardized surcharge to payments made using a credit or debit card, which is in line with our cost of acceptance.  Thank you.

Additional Information: 

• The Plunge can be reached at (310) 781-7113. 
• When there are two people in the lane, please communicate with the person you are sharing a lane with and come to a mutual agreement as to if you will split the lane or circle swim. No more than seven people per lane will be permitted. When there are more than two people per lane, circle swim is required. 
• If you plan to swim regularly, we recommend that you add funds to your account online through the City of Torrance Registration Office in order to avoid small, frequent charges on your banking and/or credit card account. The funds added to your account online can be deducted during the transaction with the cashier.
