2022 Coyote Management Plan Update

The amendment includes:

• Instituting a five-month active trapping season from October to March every year.
• Revising the strategy of trapping coyotes in problem locations to trapping coyotes in a geographical area where increased coyote behavior is reported.
• Hiring a part-time, civilian coyote management staff assistant.
• Establishing intensive education and outreach.
