COED Volleyball Clinic takes place on Saturdays indoors at the Dee Hardison Sports Center at Wilson Park. The clinic is for children in grades 2-4 and will meet from 9:00-10:45 a.m. for 8 weeks beginning April 13, 2024. The cost is $89 and includes a uniform shirt. There is no clinic on May 25, 2024.
The COED Volleyball League is available for children in grades 4-8. The Junior Division is for kids in grades 4 and 5. The Senior Division is for kids in grades 6 through 8. Players will be placed on teams (based on grade and school your child attends or address on file) and have practice and a weekly game on Saturdays indoors at the Dee Hardison Sports Center at Wilson Park. Games are tentatively scheduled to begin on April 13, 2024. There are no games on May 26, 2024. The cost is $89 and includes a uniform shirt.

February 27: Torrance resident registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
March 5: Non-resident registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
March 29: Last day to register
April 12: Last day to withdraw at 5:00 p.m.
April 13: Clinic and Leagues scheduled to begin! Date subject to change.
April 20: Picture Day
REFUNDS
The City will give a partial refund of 80% or 100% credit to the account if a request is submitted by April 12 at 5:00 p.m.

COACHES INFORMATION
- Volunteer Coach Application All volunteers must complete a background check and be cleared. Completion of the volunteer process does not guarantee placement.

- Coach Agreement
- NAYS Training - all coaches must take this training. The first time you take the training, you take a 3 hour training that is on all aspects of coaching and a second training that is sport specific to the sport you are coaching. If you have taken it for coaching another sport - you will only need to do the short sport specific training for this sport. You will receive log in information for the training after you clear the background check.
- Concussion Training - Required for all coaches. (click on the blue box below)
- After the Youth Program Season, all-volunteer coaches will receive a 100% credit upon returning their equipment as long as the equipment issued is returned by the deadline given. If the team’s equipment is damaged or lost, the Coach will need to contact the Recreation Supervisor.
