DEE HARDISON SPORTS CENTER

The Dee Hardison Sports Center is located on Wilson Park and features a large gymnasium and multi-purpose room. The Sports Center is the site for basketball, volleyball, classes and special events supporting the City of Torrance's Youth and Adult sports programs.

The Dee Hardison Sports Center is named in honor of former Torrance Mayor, Dee Hardison. Dee Hardison was the Mayor of the City of Torrance from 1994 to 2002 and served as a City Council Member from 1986 through 1994. 

Prior to her tenure with the City of Torrance, Dee Hardison worked for the Torrance Unified School District for more than 25 years as a Special Education Teacher and Program Specialist. The City of Torrance is proud to have named the Dee Hardison Sports Center at Wilson Park in her honor.

Dee Hardison Sports Center Rental

Private groups may rent the Sport Center gym or multipurpose room when it is not in use. For information on available dates and times please call the Facility Booking Office at (310) 618-5982. Please note the following: 

• The City of Torrance does not allow any rock climbers, dunk tanks, obstacle courses, laser tag, nerf guns/ nerf gun courses, giant hamster balls, trackless trains, game trucks or oversized inflatable items. 

• The delivery and use of Event tents, banquet seating (tables and chairs) are strictly prohibited and not approved inside any City of Torrance Parks. Only a single 10x10 EZ-Up canopy is permitted.
