Turn in your used motor oil and filters to a certified recycling center and get 40 cents per gallon or an equivalent coupon back. The Torrance certified centers in the link above will accept used motor oil and filters as indicated. 

Contaminated oil drop off locations

Please do not mix used motor oil with other substances as contaminated oil will not be accepted. Take contaminated oil to a hazardous waste drop-off location.

Recycling used motor oil saves natural resources and prevents contamination of groundwater and our oceans. Oil never wears out, it just gets dirty. Recycling your oil will clean it and make it usable once again.
