Grasscycling is the natural recycling of grass by leaving clippings on the lawn when mowing.

Benefits

  • Saves time and the effort of filling up the green bin
  • Promotes a healthier lawn, as it releases valuable nutrients back into the soil
  • Helps reduce water usage and the need for synthetic fertilizers
  • Saves money, as less water and fertilizer needed

How to Grasscycle

  • Cut no more than 1/3 the grass's length, to avoid covering up the grass surface
  • Cut grass when the surface is dry
  • Keep mower blades sharp
  • Cut when the height is between 3 and 4 inches

Although you can grasscycle with any mower, you may want to consider buying a new lawn mower.
