Normal Schedule

Residential trash and recycling pick up in the City of Torrance is done Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. All trash and recycling must be out by 7 a.m. on your appointed pick up day.

Holiday Schedule

If there is a holiday during the week, the pick up will be delayed by one day from the holiday through the rest of the week. For example, if a holiday falls on Monday, Monday's pick up will be on Tuesday, Tuesday's pick up will be on Wednesday, Wednesday's pick up will be on Thursday, and Thursday's pick up will be on Friday.

Street sweeping occurs Monday through Thursday. Streets are not swept on holidays and the schedule does not change during a holiday week.

Large Item pick up will not be available during the Christmas Tree recycling program.
