Home MenuStability Voucher Program (SV)
The City of Torrance Housing Authority has accepted Stability Vouchers (SV) as part of an allocation of 4,000 vouchers issued to public housing authorities nationwide by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The SVs were allocated with the intent to provide rental assistance for individuals and families who are:
- Homeless;
- At risk of homelessness;
- Fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking or human trafficking;
- Veterans and families that include a veteran family member that meet one of the preceding criteria
Torrance Housing is only receiving direct tenant referrals from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) for these SV vouchers.
If you think you are eligible for the Stability Voucher program, you may review the CES Permanent Supportive Housing Prioritization and Matching Guidance on Stability Voucher priority populations and contact a Coordinated Entry System Access Center in your region. Please note that connection to the Coordinated Entry System does not guarantee your eligibility or prioritization for housing or rental subsidy support.
