Under the direction of the City Manager's Office, the Office of Cable & Community Relations is responsible for management of:

• Audio/Visual Services (sound systems, still photography, etc.)
• Citywide external communications (Torrance Seasons, eNewsletter, NEWSBREAK Live blog, etc.)
• Citywide Internet content (TorranceCA.Gov and social media)
• Citywide Public Information Officer
• Community Relations
• Event planning (dedications, ribbon cuttings, ceremonies, etc.)
• Franchise coordination
• Public access (TCtv: Spectrum 28; Frontier FiOS 36)
• Educational Access (TUSD: Spectrum 30; Frontier FiOS 37) and (ECC: Spectrum 8; Frontier FiOS 32)
• Government Access (CitiCABLE: Spectrum 3; Frontier FiOS 31; KNET 25.2)
• Public Access Foundation
