Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Office of Cable and Community Relations) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

DENISE DONATELLI (The Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation: Studio Cabaret Series)

Denise Donatelli, one of today’s premiere vocalist, alternating between jazz and adult contemporary with ease, has been on a quiet a roll! Donatelli’s last three consecutive albums have received Grammy nominations, she has been voted into the Downbeat Critics Poll as Female Vocalist Rising Star for the past three years, and was named Female Jazz Vocalist of the Year by the Los Angeles Jazz Society.  With the release of Find a Heart, Donatelli once again proves why she is the subject of such accolades. “Denise’s voice is a polished instrument.  She moves up and down scales, octaves, emotions with seeming ease, the mark of true artistry.  It never seemed like Sinatra was working at it, did it!” International Review of Music.
