The City of Torrance Social Services Commission will be holding a toiletry drive from March 12-23, 2018 to benefit organizations that serve people experiencing homelessness. The Commission is seeking donations of the following items in regular or travel sizes:
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Hand sanitizer
- Feminine hygiene products
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Lotion
- Lip balm
- Baby wipes
- Deodorant
They also will be collecting:
- Hand towels
- Bath towels
- Socks
- Blankets
The donation drive will benefit three local organizations: Harbor Interfaith, Family Promise of South Bay and 1736 Family Crisis.
Drop-off locations are:
- City Hall lobby
- Human Resources/ Personnel Building lobby
- All Torrance Public Library branch lobbies
- Torrance Police Department lobby
- All Torrance Fire Department station lobbies
