Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Office of Cable and Community Relations) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

LADY PATRIOT (The South Bay Conservatory School of the Arts and The Torrance Arts Council)

The inner sanctum of Confederate President Jefferson Davis has been breached.  Information is leaking to the enemy…who is the spy?  No one is privy to this information except Jefferson’s advisors and they are beyond repute.  Based on a true story, Lady Patriot reveals an intimate look into the prejudices and patriotism of three ladies who lived during the Civil War.  Varina Davis, Elizabeth Van Lew, and Mary Bowser.  Written and directed by Ted Lange, Lady Patriot combines Lange’s signature comedy and drama as it peels away traditional stereotypes prevalent in the South during the Confederacy.

Tickets are $20.  Call the Theatre Box Office at 310.781.7171.
