WMoF Celebrity Series: Airship - Flies the SoCal Skies. Goodyear Returns to the South Bay
Wingfoot Two is the new blimp, i.e., airship (they don’t like to be called blimp!) stationed at the Goodyear complex in the South Bay.
Goodyear pilot Tom Matus will describe the new airship, its ultratechnology, characteristics, and mission. He will share the history and evolution of the airship as well as the experience of flying this iconic vessel on its mission of representing the proud tradition of the Goodyear Company and lighter-than-air aviation in America. All this at the Western Museum of Flight at Torrance Airport.
