Western Museum of Flight Celebrity Lecture
Dr. Eileen Bjorkman, Colonel USAF (ret) will share the history of the Combat Exclusion Policy which prevented women from flying combat aircraft in combat roles until the law was changed in 1993. Her book, Fly Girls Revolt - The Story of the Women who Kicked Open the Door to Fly in Combat - will be the subject of the presentation.
