On Memorial Day, the Torrance Historical Society will host a memorial program for Torrance service personnel who gave their lives in U.S. military actions. The event includes the reading of the 146 Names on the Wall. Those Names include war losses from World War I to those in the Iraq and Afghanistan War. 

The Memorial Service is free, and open to the public.

Immediately following the Memorial Service, all are invited to the Torrance Historical Society & Museum (1345 Post Ave., Old Torrance) for a screening of Dennis Kwong’s 23-minute Names on the Wall documentary video, which captures the research behind the Names on the Wall project.
