This 48th annual Bunka-Sai Japanese Cultural Festival is a fundraiser to support the Student Cultural Exchange program of the Torrance Sister City Assn's affiliation with the City of Kashiwa, Japan. Free admission and parking for the event featuring performances of Japanese cultural artists (taiko drumming, dancing, music, martial arts), a variety of demonstrations/lectures (Bonsai, Ikebana), exhibits (children's art, Bonsai, Ikebana) hands-on origami and calligraphy lessons, games for children, with food and Asian-themed handicrafts for sale.
