Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Office of Cable and Community Relations) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

Paul Williams Songbook

Celebrate America's most prolific songwriter and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame inductee with singers Laura Ellis and John Adkison, and musicians.

You know his music, even if you don’t think you do…you do.
Paul Williams is an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winning artist who has written songs from The Rainbow Connection (Kermit the Frog) to Evergreen (Barbara Streisand). His music has been recorded by such inimitable talents as Willie Nelson, Helen Reddy, the Carpenters, Three Dog Night, the Dixie Chicks, Sarah McLachlan, Judy Collins, Jason Mraz and Kermit the Frog. Songs like “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Rainy Days and Mondays,” “You and Me Against the World,” “An Old Fashioned Love Song” and “Let Me Be The One” all remain pop classics. His film and stage scores (Phantom of the Paradise and Ishtar, as well as The Muppet Christmas Carol, Bugsy Malone, and Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas) continue to be replayed and performed.

Spend the evening getting lost in the memories that his music brings and creating new ones by discovering songs that could become your new favorites.
