Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Office of Cable and Community Relations) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

SMOOTH TOUCH BAND (Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation)

The Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation presents THE SMOOTH TOUCH BAND in the Torino Festival Plaza, 3330 Civic Center Drive.

Tickets are $32.  Tables for two available for $70.  Call the Theatre Box Office at 310.781.7171 or access www.TorranceCA.Gov/TCACTickets.  No tickets will be available the day of the show.  Enter through the Ken Miller Recreation Center Auditorium, 3341 Torrance Blvd.  For more information access www.torrancearts.org.

 The Band Smooth Touch is a funky smooth ten piece show band that consists of three lead vocalists, keys guitar, bass, drummer, and three piece horn section that's sure to electrify the stage, even when there isn't one!  One of the South Bay Festival of the Arts mainstage favorites, this band is pure entertainment and luscious sounds that will get everyone moving.

Dinners are available for pre-order only.  Options are: Charcuterie Box - European cheese assortment of English Bleu, Spanish Manchego, and French Brie; Italian meats of sliced prosciutto and salami accompanied with our house-made candied pecans, fig jam, and grilled flat bread.  Sesame Chicken Salad - Fresh chopped romaine lettuce, sliced almonds, grilled chicken, mandarin oranges, julienned red bell peppers, topped with sesame seeds and crispy wontons served with sesame dressing.  Hummus Box - Traditional hummus topped with feta cheese, olives, and tomato, sumac, and ale-infused flat bread.
