Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Office of Cable and Community Relations) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

Discover more about Los Angeles and the folks who call it home with Unheard LA as your guide.  Presented by KPCC In Person - the live programming platform for NPR affiliate KPCC - this live, community-driven storytelling series takes place at theatres around the greater Los Angeles area.  Each show is free, unique, and features a curated lineup of real people sharing true stories of life here in Southern California.

You won’t be going on this journey alone.  Theater artist and Watts native Bruce A. Lemon, Jr. will be your Unheard LA host, helping to connect each story, storyteller, and show venue along the way.  And stick around afterward for a post-show mixer to meet the storytellers, mingle with others, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and be inspired by your fellow Angelenos.
