What: This is to inform you that South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) staff has scheduled a community meeting for Proposed Amended Rule 1118 – Control of Emissions From Refinery Flares which is scheduled for a Public Hearing before the South Coast AQMD Governing Board on April 5, 2024 (subject to change). The purpose of the meeting is to provide members of the community an opportunity to learn more about the proposed amendments to Rule 1118. The meeting also will serve as a public forum for community members and will be conducted in a question and answer format which will give each member of the community an opportunity to provide comments or feedback.

On Saturday, June 22, 2019, the South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) Refinery Committee will host a community meeting to discuss proposed hydrogen fluoride storage and use at petroleum refineries and other refinery-related topics.

For additional information please contact: Heather Farr, Program Supervisor at (909) 396-3672 or by email at hfarr@aqmd.gov.

The Blue Sky Café located in the lobby at the South Coast AQMD will be open at 9:00 AM for breakfast and lunch. Please note: food and drinks are not allowed into the Auditorium, but the Committee meeting will be broadcast into the cafeteria area.
