Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Office of Cable and Community Relations) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

17TH ASIA AMERICA YOUTH SYMPHONY ANNUAL CONCERT: EAST MEETS WEST - AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (The Asia America Youth Symphony)

Founder, Music Director, and Conductor, David Benoit leads the multi-talented Asia America Youth Symphony through a varied program featuring Asian and American music.  This mornings the orchestra’s 17th Annual Spring Concert and will feature the following: George Gershwin’s An American in Paris, and Japanese, The Surfin’ Medley, arranged by David Benoit, Alexander Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia, David Benoit’s Soul to Seoul, and a brand new selection composed by maestro Benoit for flute and piano, featuring soloists Joseph Loi on flute and Adina Pak on piano,  which will receive its world premiere!
