Bona-fide Torrance-based, non-profit groups may submit events to be included in the Torrance citywide calendar pending approval. The City of Torrance Citywide Calendar System Administrator (Office of Cable and Community Relations) is responsible for determining which events are appropriate for posting and then approving a calendar entry. The administrator also has the capability to submit the event to other calendars so that your event may be posted on more than one calendar if appropriate. Events must occur within Torrance city limits to be considered for inclusion and submitted within the categories already identified within the calendar. Find out How To Submit.

Andy Hill and Renee Safier, along with their band Hard Rain, have taken their unique sound and multi-instrumental skills to venues large and small all over the world. Their eleven independent CD releases have won them countless awards, including: LA Music Awards “Americana Group of the Year” and the International Acoustic Music Award for “Best Duo/Group”. In 2005, Renee Safier won the Telluride Blues Festival Acoustic Blues Competition, receiving a rousing response from the 12,000-plus festival crowd.

So break out the tie-dye t-shirts and love beads and come celebrate the 29^th Annual Dylanfest - an all-day music festival showcasing the music of Bob Dylan, featuring many of L.A.’s top musicians, including Bruce Springsteen’s ‘side man,’ Marty Rifkin. Amazingly, sixty-five Dylan-composed songs will be sung with no repeats! Acclaimed Chef Michael Shafer will be providing casual food and beverages for sale during the event.
