YMCA's Grandparent's Day
As part of the Torrance-South Bay YMCA’s Welcoming Week, please join us in celebrating the Y’s Grandparent’s Day (Keiro no Hi ∙ 敬老の日) on Sunday, September 16, 2-4pm. This special FREE event is in honor of “Respect of the Aged Day,” a national Japanese holiday to express respect for the elders. This event will offer: Entertainment featuring a Kimono Fashion Show, Japanese tea ceremony, flower arrangements, Pom Pom Cheerleaders and traditional Japanese confectionary.
