As City employees, we make decisions every day. Even when working within established protocols, some of those decisions present ethical dilemmas and offer more than one “right” way to proceed. As City employees, we make decisions every day. These decisions can include ethical dilemmas and more than one “right” way to proceed. This course explores ethics when making decisions, and will provide you with tools that can help you make the most ethical decision in serving the public.

Using scenarios, both theoretical and drawn from our work in the City of Torrance, participants will get a hands on look at resolving day-to-day ethical dilemmas in public service.
