This class provides you with the tools and techniques to complete a job application that will make you stand out from the crowd and rise to the top! Along with some creative thinking, you will learn how to use resources such as the job announcement, job description, and the organization's website for important information that will help you match your talents to the position
You will also learn the purpose of a resume and how to write a polished one to reflect your career summary, highlighting your most valuable contributions to your profession. Get ready for a fast paced course on how to write your own marketing "ad" of your employment and training history.
To be successful in an interview, applicants must be able to communicate how their qualifications will be the best fit for the job. In this class, you will gain insight on what to expect during an interview, commonly asked questions, how to present your skills, and stay poised to get that job!
