South Bay Amateur Radio Club
Two members of SBARC will review their experiments in high altitude balloon flights. The talk will cover acquisition of lifting gas, building/maintaining payloads & expendable launch vehicles, investigation of local geography, high altitude wind conditions, radio propagation, FAA rules & regulations, jurisprudence, occasional opportunities to interact with large bodies of water, and future improvements.
