Shakespeare by the Sea has been presenting free performances of Shakespeare for many years throughout Los Angeles County. On July 27, they present The Winter's Tale, the story of Leontes, a King who banishes his family wrongfully and is taught the meaning of forgiveness through the inspired plan of a wise, loyal woman. The play takes place in the newly renovated Amphitheater at Wilson Park, 2200 Crenshaw Blvd. Bring a picnic, a jacket, low back chairs, and friends and join the City of Torrance for this free play.
The Merry Wives of Windsor is being presented on Saturday, July 28.
